Talbot’s live video from the show in Tokyo

Yep. It’s in quite bearable quality. The entire show, filmed on December 3rd, 2011, at the club Moon Step in Tokyo, Japan. This was one of the eight shows of our Japan tour – “Tour de Ninja 2011”.

Enjoy.

Let’s bird!

Did this bird with a bomb today, influenced by the Tokidoki. Fun! There’s also added a quote by Picasso and tiny scissors.
On the thigh.

And cause I already have posted the Brant Bjork’s “Dirty Bird” to go with the birdtheme, then this time it’s something around the bomb. So, here it is – DC-10 from Techno Animal’s album “Brotherood of the Bomb”. Massive stuff.

Tattoofraud! A warning to the people in London, beware!

Got an letter from a guy in London, who suggested me to take a look at one advertisement in Gumtree cause he thought that there are my works used. And what do you know – some bastard has really used the photos of my tattoowork for advertising HIS tattooing. Had cutted out all the watermarks etc. Well, I do appreciate the fact that he liked my work so much that he even used them, but I also would like to warn you from this guy.

Unfortunately I don’t have much info about him. Only know that he uses name Sam (at least that was written in the ad), but there was also a name Lee used in some of the ads (there is/was a LOT of those ad’s with my photos in Gumtree.

When the person who has one of those mentioned tattoos on her foot, called the guy, then he told her that she’s lying and hung up. When I called the guy, then he asked me where I’m from and haven’t even waited for the answer – hung up.

A fraud has been also reported in Gumtree site.

Anyway, here’s the details I do know, taken from the advertisings:

Name: Sam or Lee

Phone number: (+44) 07900434121

Areas working: London, West Crayden, Bethnal Green.

At least one of the advertisements with my photos are still up there, but some of them has been already deleted:

First three photos in this gallery there, the black’n’white geometrical & dotwork works, are mine.
When scrolling down, you should see similar ads, with some other photos.

I personally wouldn’t trust a guy who uses other artist’s work for promoting his skills, to work on my own skin. I hope this post helps to prevent some damaged skin!

Here’s also some screenshots from one of the ads, just in case if the linked ad should be deleted sometime:

Channel strip

Customer is studying in London to become a sound engineer and he wanted to have a channel strip on his arm. A cartoonish one. So, I drew the design and from there we went.
One of my latest interests among the geometry, dotwork and so on, has also been the watercolouring. On the paper and on the skin as well. So, this is one of the works where I tried this. I really like this style so I will definitely work more with it in the future.
Apparently tho, I still need to learn to take proper photos, there’s no justice for the colours on the pics.

Flowering & Fibonacci spiral

Did this Golden spiral few days ago, also known as the Fibonacci spiral. I really dig this kind of stuff a lot and it was very interesting time anyway, had a nice chat with the client etc. Thanks, Steven!

Who’s not familiar with the Fibonacci spiral yet, here’s two links for you:

Sacred geometry. Interesting stuff.

Anyway, here’s the photos:

And here’s the floral tat2 I started in the summer:

Back at work

Yep.
Back from touring and slingin’ the ink again.

Started with the sunflower. There was the outlines already done by some other tattoo artist, so I tuned the outlines and started colouring. This is actually only the first, base layer so to speak. There’s going to be more detailing and I also need to work with the outlines inside the blossom. And lot’s more colouring!

Updates and posters

Hello there

Been a while since the last post. At the moment I’m now finally on the last tour of 2011 with Talbot, in Japan – “Tour de Ninja 2011”. This will be over soon and in the second half of December I’ll be back in Estonia, working with the inks & needles again.

Anyway, here’s some photos.

Finished this legjob:

And added some bits & pieces to this halfsleeve:

Also, here’s two posters I made for Talbot’s tours – “Tour de Balkan 2011” & “Tour de Ninja 2011”
