New sleeve project & minimalism

Started working on a new sleeve & cover-up project. Decided to let few old tats to stay in the place and just to work them over. Today was the beginning, freshened the rose for starters:

Cutery and mandala

Next cover-up project begun.
Will cover this abstract red tree (the red lines) with a bunch of cute cartoon creatures, so in the end it will be a colorful halfsleeve. A lot more work going in this one, besides all the other characters there’s got to be some more layers of ink on top of the old tat as well, to cover it up nicely.

Lizard.

Customer from Germany wanted a lizard. He’s interested in the aboriginal art and celtic knotwork and wanted to have some dotwork as well. So I tried to combine it all together and it came out like this. Super happy with the result. One sitting, nine hours in a row altogether with the freehand sketching onto the skin and preparations etc. Time well spent.
