Started working on another cover-up. Customer wanted to have the panda instead of this mess on her shoulder. And so she got it, the panda. Not finished yet tho, need some more work, want to “tighten” the colours and also will add some background to it.

Tiger cover-up
Hummingbird and beginning of a blackwork halfsleeve
Customer had quite an ugly looking hummingbird on the back. She wanted to have the hummingbird tho and some other things mixed in as well. So I suggested to cover up the old bird and make a new one with all the extras.
This kind of layering been in in my to-do-wish-list for some time now.
Also started working on yet another freehand blackwork halfsleeve. This is just the beginning here:
Rose & cover-up
Cover-up the old stuff
I really love to do cover-up’s. It’s always a good challenge, to work the old tat into new one, making an illusion. With the dotwork & geometry tattoos it’s even a more of a challenge, cause those designs have a lot more air in them. Although, lately I like more and more the cover-up’s where the new tattoo is just a second layer, so the old & new kinda mix together.
Anyway, did one cover-up again today, it had all my favourite techniques in it – dotwork, geometry and watercolours.
