New sleeve project & minimalism

Started working on a new sleeve & cover-up project. Decided to let few old tats to stay in the place and just to work them over. Today was the beginning, freshened the rose for starters:

And did some cool minimal stuff once again:

Progress on two sleeves

Progress with the Hellboy sleeve. A lot of details in this one, a LOT. Needs some more covering of the old tat2 as well.

Had some progress on the Madhatter sleeve as well.

Hummingbird and beginning of a blackwork halfsleeve

Customer had quite an ugly looking hummingbird on the back. She wanted to have the hummingbird tho and some other things mixed in as well. So I suggested to cover up the old bird and make a new one with all the extras.
This kind of layering been in in my to-do-wish-list for some time now.

Also started working on yet another freehand blackwork halfsleeve. This is just the beginning here:

Rose & cover-up

Lovely old school rose with the hinge, on the arm:

And a cover-up. Obviously it’s still a work in progress. Going to be a tree, branches & maple leaves.

Flowering & Fibonacci spiral

Did this Golden spiral few days ago, also known as the Fibonacci spiral. I really dig this kind of stuff a lot and it was very interesting time anyway, had a nice chat with the client etc. Thanks, Steven!

Who’s not familiar with the Fibonacci spiral yet, here’s two links for you:

Sacred geometry. Interesting stuff.

Anyway, here’s the photos:

And here’s the floral tat2 I started in the summer:
