Next cover-up project begun.
Will cover this abstract red tree (the red lines) with a bunch of cute cartoon creatures, so in the end it will be a colorful halfsleeve. A lot more work going in this one, besides all the other characters there’s got to be some more layers of ink on top of the old tat as well, to cover it up nicely.
And also just finished this small mandala:

Customer from Germany wanted a lizard. He’s interested in the aboriginal art and celtic knotwork and wanted to have some dotwork as well. So I tried to combine it all together and it came out like this. Super happy with the result. One sitting, nine hours in a row altogether with the freehand sketching onto the skin and preparations etc. Time well spent.

He’s also playing bass and didgeridoo in a band called Tuareg, check it out from these links:

For the customer it symbolizes the personal growth, like the mountains to climb to, each one getting more complexed and so on. And it all with the minimal look. Inside of the biceps.
Oh, and, meanwhile my band Talbot received an “Skype’s Go Change the World Award”. Lovely.

A bit ago started one mandala and this one here is on the other shoulder of the very same person. Just the first session, needs shading, colouring and some more linework as well.

Got most of the colours in today, but needs some more work tho, before being finished. Anyway, it’s quite close to being done.
